Pope Francis has asked all Catholics to pray the Rosary daily during this month of October,asking Mary and St.Micheal the Archangel to intercede for the protection of the church in a moment of spiritual turbulence.

The Holly Father did not specify the Spiritual turbulence to which he referred ,but did say that prayer could help the church to become more aware of the faults ,the errors and the abuses committed in the present and in the past , and committed to combating without any hesitation so that evil may not prevail .

The Pope also encouraged that Catholics end the Rosary with recitation of the prayer of St.Micheal Archangel defend us in battle ,be our our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil:may God rebuke him,we humbly pray;an thou,O prince of heavenly host,by the power of God,cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl thru the world seeking the ruin of souls.Amen
